The ideas you did not predict become the best ideas
Ideas you stumble on while linking notes are often better than conclusions you planned your way to. Zettelkasten devices such as links and bottom-up development are, in the end, designed to deliberately provoke these unexpected collisions.
So do not judge in advance whether something will be useful. Always take the note — you cannot know which note will become the raw material for the best idea until it gets connected.
